Highlights:
- Experienced three new cities in Santiago (Plaza de Armas, Santa Lucia Hill, Fuente Neptuno), Puerto Natales (Mylodon, Old Pier, Sunset over the Última Esperanza Sound) and Punta Arenas (Magellan, Pilot Pardo, Southernmost Hoop I’ve Ever Seen)
- Torres del Paine National Park (Pretty scenic drive to a pretty scenic hotel, Lago Grey glacier excursion, hiking Mirado Cuernos and Mirado Condor)
- Pretty amazing marathon course through the park conveniently finishing at my host hotel…plus a horse selfie at mile 25.
Low-lights:
- Continue to get older and slower
- Really let down my high school Spanish teacher
- After roughly 30 years of driving, finally had to change a tire
